چکیده

there are technical and theoretical knowledge of the gully, ditch the clean areas on topographic maps and digital models that will help. however, the ability to use maps (dem) to identify the location and frequency of gully requires knowledge about the process of creating a moat.the present study modeled gulliation prone areas in dyreh river basin done. materials and methods used in this research involve the use of layers of digital elevation model (dem) derived from secondary layers, it can stream power index (spi( and roads in the basin lithology and field data collection was. the data were analyzed in arc gis, and the results were analyzed by chi-square test. based on the results of the study dyreh catchment as the eighth factor, the five factors (slope, horizontal curvature, slope, land use, distance from roads, lithology) were identified as factors in producing dike. among the five factors, slope grade 0 to 4/1 degree of dyreh basin of approximately 33/22% of this has been the most effective in producing dike basin.

Gully Erosion after Wildfire

Predicting runoff and erosion from watersheds burned by wildfires requires an understanding of the spatial structure of both hillslope and channel drainage networks. We investigate the small-scale and large-scale structures of drainage networks using field studies and computer analysis of 30-m digital elevation model. Topologic variables were derived from a composite 30-m DEM, which included 14...

The Gully Erosion Effect On the Environment

The paper contains data about the destructive effects of gully erosion on the environment. It provides general information about the gully erosion in several countries around the world including Romania and is considered a case study for a river basin located in the Semenic Mountains (Bârzava drainage area). The case study is based on the following assumptions: the presence of different types o...

Investigation of Some Methodologies in Providing Erosion Maps of Surface, Rill and Gully and Erosion Features

Some methodologies were compared in providing erosion maps of surface, rill and gully and erosion features, in research which took place in the Varamin sub-basin, north-east Tehran, Iran. A photomorphic unit map was produced from processed satellite images, and four other maps were prepared by the integration of different data layers, including slope, plant cover, geology, land use, rocks erodi...

Modeling the Potential of Gully Erosion Occurrence Applying Shannon Entropy and Statistical Index Models in Seymareh Region

1- Introduction The gully erosion occurrence, due to the high rate of sediment production in the watershed, is one of the problems of natural resources management in the context of soil management and protection. It is known as an important signature of land degradation and forming as well as a source of sediment in a range of environments. Gully erosion often has severe environmental and econ...

investigating the effect of recent drought at gully erosion and landslides intensify in azarshahr catchment using neutral network

because of the presence of special properties in semi arid catchment, these areas are suitable for drought events. the responses of these areas to drought events are in the form of the disappearance of plant cover on surfaces slopes, intensive erosion or landslide occurrence on side of rivers’ course. azarshahr catchment (situated in 37ëš 36′ to 37ëš 49′ n and 44ëš 20′ to 45ëš 49′ e) ...
